I’m sad to say, but I think summer is officially over. Fall colours are starting to come into stores and pumpkin spice everything is on the horizon. In Florida though, we can hold onto that summer feeling most of the year. So, For my next shoot for Free People Florida, I’m planning on shooting at Lido Beach here in Sarasota. I want warm end of summer colours and golden hour light, a with travel feel. This Girl loves sand and surf, and the wonder of nature. Pretty much  your typical “Free People” girl.

Above is a mood board I created for the shoot to keep me on track  with my original vision for when I take the photos and edit them.

I’ve been getting a lot of questions regarding my mood boards. So here it is:

I make them myself.

I don’t use apps, and I don’t get them from somewhere…well I mean I get the concept from all the weird stuff swirling around in my head but.. oh and I also make the palettes, find the images myself and piece them together.

I should be posting the finished product from this shoot in the next few days

Summer: It’s all about the bright colours, beach vibes, and in the case of Florida… really hot weather.

I’m super excited to start planning my next shoot with Sarasota photographer Kris Holman for Free People Florida.  Kris is a super talented photographer that I think has a really great summer vibe that will be so perfect for the shoot!

I wanted to have a really laid back bright surf/skate mood that encompasses where we live and the Free People brand. Warm days at the beach, vacation, and no worries.

I shot our Free People Sarasota Collab with Courtney Freeman the other day! It was such an amazing experience and the location was perfect! It was on Anna Maria island at the Angelinos Sea Lodge. Our two main models were Tia Copeland and Kelsey Fuse and the Courtney’s cousins Faith and Hope Price happened to be there wearing Free People! So they were in a few of the group shots! Everyone did such a good job and worked together really well, so I’m super excited to share the finished product!

So Excited for my first Free People Florida collaboration with Indiana photographer/ traveler/ Free People Enthusiast Courtney Freeman! She takes extremely pretty, girly, photos that are just as sweet and bubbly as she is, so Im super pumped to see what we come up with!

For this photoshoot we are shooting at the Angelino’s Sea Lodge Resort in Holmes Beach, on Anna Maria Island. The actual location has a huge tree house on the property that there is some local controversy going on about. It’s a landmark to the area but is in danger of being torn down, you can read more about that here.

For the Actual look and feel of the shoot we’re going to be a light, pretty and beachy shoot, with pastel muted pinks and greens with warm golden hour light!
